Pre-weekend TCR UK championship leader Adam Shepherd won all three races at Croft, but got disqualified from race two for avoidable contact. Shepherd’s Cupra Leon VZ led Callum Newsham’s Hyundai from the start of race one, while Steve Laidlaw spun on lap two and later had contact with Brad Hutchison. Despite this, Hutchison managed to secure third place ahead of Finn Leslie and Sam Laidlaw.
In race two, Shepherd moved up to challenge for the lead, overtaking Newsham after a few laps, but was later disqualified, giving the win to Newsham. Steve Laidlaw’s heavy off led to a red flag in the final race, resulting in Shepherd’s comfortable win, with Newsham and Sam Laidlaw completing the podium.
The Civic Cup saw Liam McGill and Lewis Kent battling for the lead in race one, with McGill ultimately taking the win. Race two witnessed a duel between Alistair Camp and Josh Bromley, while McGill dominated the third race with Camp and Hewlett fighting for second.
In the Junior Saloons races, Oliver Kerr and Wilf Butler had close battles, with Butler emerging victorious in the third race after Kerr lost second place briefly. Selvadorai finished third in all three races.
